I just about cried to think that Going Postal got optioned by the people who did Hogfather. It's one of the books that's perfect for a feature length film (and one of my favorites), but odds are bad that it'll ever get picked up now. *sigh* Needless to say, I don't think I'll be watching Colour of Magic or Going Postal if/when they come out on DVD. Yeah, I visited Wikipedia and saw they’d done Colour of Magic and were working on Going Postal. I just about cried to think that Going Postal got optioned by the people who did Hogfather. It’s one of the books that’s perfect for a feature length film (and one of my favorites), but odds are bad that it’ll ever get picked up now. *sigh*

Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll be watching Colour of Magic or Going Postal if/when they come out on DVD.

And if you'd like to look forward to <em>another</em> made-for-TV, badly directed mini-series, <em>Going Postal</em> is next. At least this time they chose a more cinematic novel to adapt.
